In 2012, one of the organizers kids,

who'd helped set up the "adult" Shipwreck Dance suggested we have a Shipwreck Dance for kids,

In 2013 it happened.

Now in its 6th year, this is another free event hosted by 

Charlotte County along with the Englewood Community Coalition, Fellowship Church of Englewood and

the Englewood Pioneer Days Committee.

This year the High School Shipwreck Dance Party

Living the Dream.....

gives the kids 14 to 18 a chance to dress for the theme.

The event will be held at

on Saturday night August 24th from 6-9pm.

This is a FREE event along with Free Pizza and snacks

Lemonade and ice cold water.
